A Christmas Carol (1951)

December 27 - January 2

Widely considered to be the definitive of the many film versions of Charles Dickens' classic novel is this 1951 British adaptation, starring Alastair Sim (entitled "Scrooge" in its U.K. release).

Alastair Sim and Michael Hordern reprised their roles two decades later, lending their voices to Richard Williams's 1971 animated version of the tale.

Scrooge is a 1951 British fantasy drama film and an adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol (1843). It stars Alastair Sim as Ebenezer Scrooge, and was produced and directed by Brian Desmond Hurst, with a screenplay by Noel Langley. It was released as A Christmas Carol in the United States.

ABOUT THE MOVIE

On Christmas Eve, Scrooge has a haunting nightmare from being visited by the ghost of his business partner, Jacob Marley. He is visited by three ghosts and is given one last chance to change his ways and save himself from the grim fate that befell Marley.

See you at the movies and don't forget to wear your jammies!!!

Five years after winning the hearts of millions of television viewers on Season 4 of NBC TV’s hit music reality show, The Voice, the 25-year-old is leaving her boot print all over Texas Country Music and with fans worldwide.

Holly, whose voice has been described by Blake Shelton as “the most effortless, accurate, and powerful voice”, is Texas Country Music Association’s reigning Female Vocalist of the Year. In what’s being called Holly’s breakout year since appearing on The Voice, the Waco native was also named 2017 Vocalist of the Year by the East Texas Music Association, and, Holly’s hit single off the 2016 album Steel, “You’re in Texas”, is 2017’s Song of the Year. The video for “You’re In Texas” won Video of the Year.

“I am so incredibly proud of the music my team and I created for Steel,” the Waco, Texas native says. “This album (Steel) is the product of three years of blood, sweat, and, at times, tears.” “I am humbled by the recognition and inspired by those who have supported me and this fantastic project”.

Shrek makes a deal with Farquaad to regain control of his swamp in return for rescuing Princess Fiona (Diaz), whom he intends to marry.
